The sales of CD’s has gone down a lot in the last 5 years,
it’ a disaster. Artists are many producing and music companies are losing
ridiculous amounts of money, every year its worst.
Nowadays people just download all there music, even if of
course everyone has CD’s in their houses and they still buy a couple of CD’s if
they have to. But the downloading world is everywhere now, there is millions of
different websites where you can download music, some of them are legal and you
have to pay for your songs. Like ITUNES and they then takes a profit but the
artists still gain money from it. But also what’s the problem really is, is the
illegal downloading for free. Millions of people don’t pay for their music;
it’s easy and takes no time at all.
Artist now make more money from Concerts, festivals
advertising and even with clothes like T- shirts or caps or even posters, this
music world is going down and it is a nightmare for the majority of the
artists.
